Hello fashion lovers, and welcome to Riches to Rags.

Past

Riches to Rags began with a suburban girl from Wellington, New Zealand named Sarah. She was given an assignment while studying for her National Diploma in Journalism Studies. She was told to write a blog about something important – world issues and such. Having no interest in carbon credits and local government, she manipulated the idea and decided to write about how the recession was affecting the fashion industry.  It worked. The comments and followers started rolling in and Riches to Rags slowly became one of the most successful blogs in the class.

Present

Today, Riches to Rags continues to grow, and Sarah has made it her mission to bring her readers interesting news from the fashion world from fashion weeks and new collections from top designers, to emerging designers, trends, street fashion, and observations.

Future

In her dream to become a fashion writer for such magazines as Bazzaar, or, dare she say it, the big “V” (Vogue), Sarah clings to her dream through her blog, and hopes that one day a fashion magazine editor will find her floating in the sea of blogs and take her under their wing.

So feel free to look around, ask questions, leave comments, have a cup of tea, and enjoy yourself.
